About Me

About Me

I come from a multi-ethnic family that has shaped much of who I am today—my mom is from Colombia 🇨🇴, and my dad is from India 🇮🇳. Their journeys as immigrants brought us to Austin, Texas, where I grew up surrounded by two vibrant cultures that taught me resilience, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for diversity. I went through the Dripping Springs school district, where I first discovered my passion for coding. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into something more, especially when I joined FRC robotics in high school. Coding gave me the tools to build, solve problems, and dream big—and I haven’t stopped since. I’m proud of my roots and grateful for the blend of cultures that continues to inspire me 💻.

God led me to Purdue University, where I’m now a rising junior pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning 🤖. I’m also earning a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, combining my love for technology with a passion for building ideas that make a difference. At Purdue, I’ve been blessed with opportunities that have helped me grow both technically and personally. I’ve worked as an undergraduate data science researcher with The Data Mine 🧪, collaborating with V2X to create a chatbot to assist their customers. I’ve also contributed to Purdue Solar Racing as a software and strategy developer 🏎️, working at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and teamwork. My journey has also extended beyond the classroom. As a Software Engineering Intern at Humana, I had the chance to work with both the Cloud Financial Operations team and the AI Enablement team—experiences that deepened my understanding of scalable systems and machine learning optimization 🦾.

My faith is at the center of who I am. I was saved in the summer of 2022, and a year later, in the summer of 2023, I was baptized—an outward expression of the inward transformation God had begun in me 🌊. Since then, I’ve been continually reminded of His grace and love through the incredible communities He’s placed in my life. Back home, my church family has always been a source of encouragement and strength. At Purdue, I’ve been blessed to be a student member of The Chapel and to serve as a Community Leader at Salt Company ⛪️. These communities have been nothing short of life-changing—places where I’m challenged, supported, and consistently pointed back to Jesus. They’ve helped me pursue Christ with all my heart, and I’m grateful every day for the people who walk this journey of faith alongside me ✝️.
